Value in. Value out.

About Us

Founded in 2025, Stumpocalypse was built on one clear goal — deliver fast, reliable stump grinding with exceptional communication and customer care. While this may be a new chapter, we’ve been operating successful service-based ventures since 2009 and understand what matters most: showing up on time, doing the job right, and making it easy for our customers from start to finish.

We focus on creating value every step of the way — from your first message to the final cleanup. Our mission is to make professional-grade stump removal straightforward and thorough: ground below grade, raked level, and your yard left clean.

Alan, owner of Stumpocalypse

Meet Alan

Hi, I’m Alan — owner and operator of Stumpocalypse L.L.C.. I personally handle every job, from quote to cleanup, ensuring every customer gets professional, careful, and honest work. My goal is simple: leave every yard cleaner, safer, and better than I found it.

I’ve spent my career working with my hands and building relationships in Metro Detroit. In 2009, I started HomeGrown Cycles — a mobile bicycle repair service known for precision work, transparent pricing, and reliable service. The same pride, craftsmanship, and care that built HomeGrown Cycles now power Stumpocalypse.

Whether it’s tightening a bike spoke or grinding a stump, I believe the same thing: do the work right, treat people fairly, and stand behind every job.
